Criticals

I will be using a three tiered critical system for this game. It makes weapons with large threat more ‘fun’ to use.

Critical Hits:
A Rapier is a d6 18-20/x2 weapon.

If you roll a 18-20, you get to roll again to confirm a critical hit.
If you roll a 18-20 a second time, you get to roll an epic hit.
If you roll a 18-20 a third time, you are bathed in the gore and blood of your enemy.

Critical Fumbles:

If you roll a 1-3, you get to roll again to confirm a critical fumble.
If you roll a 1-3 a second time, you lose your weapon and get to roll an epic fumble.
If you roll a 1-3 a third time, you lose your weapon and something else bad happens (i.e: AoO, prone condition, staggered for d4 rounds, It’s up to me).
